How to enable Clean Up in macOS Sequoia
- After successfully updating to the latest beta version of macOS 15.1, go to System Settings.
- The procedure for enabling Apple Intelligence has become simpler. You no longer need to change the region, and you don’t need to enable Siri.
Just change the system language to English and restart your Mac.
- After restarting, go back to System Settings, open the Apple Intelligence & Siri section, and click the Join Apple Intelligence Waitlist button.
If you had already enabled AI earlier, everything will work automatically.
- To use the new Clean Up option, you need to move your photos to the default Photos app. This can be done by simply dragging them.
- Click Clean Up on the top toolbar. The AI will automatically suggest objects in the photo that can be removed.
- Open the desired photo for viewing and click Edit in the upper right corner.
