(Compared to my other posts, this will be short). Because he is a genius that everyone loves. People, if they’re too lazy to read the book will watch the movie along with people who read the book. The biography was and still is a top-seller. And so will be the movie.

Was Steve Jobs Borderline Narcissist? I believe he was and that’s not a bad thing
So I’ve been following Isaacsons Biography on Steve Jobs. Im reading the part where they are developing the Macintosh. I had also just recently read a report on Narcissism. In the book, there are so many cases of him getting angry at people that as a joke, the company made a “Stand up to Steve Jobs award”. The guy clearly did not take criticism well. He isn’t smitten with himself as actual Narcissists are but he would take other peoples ideas and give them 0 credit for it. As a matter of fact, he made a quote we hear a lot on it, “Good artists copy, Great artists steal”.
But you have to say this, Steve Jobs was dedicated to what he did. He loved what he did. He believed in what he did and he didn’t want other people changing what he thought was right. If people loved him, he’d like them back. But if someone didn’t like him, they were fired and yelled at. People who told him how amazingly great his products are, are called narcissist supply and those who didn’t are narcissist abuse. He deemed these people useless and he publicly bashed them. This bashing caused him to look better.
However, this surprisingly wasn’t bad for Jobs, it was what made Apple. If someone from the non-rebellious business world came and took Apple from Jobs without him caring, Apple would have died years ago (and it almost did exactly because of this). But he was a fighter and made two more companies before returning again to Apple to save it. If someone had built something outside of Jobs standards we wouldn’t have had the products we have today. If he hadn’t hardened his crew to be afraid of him and have them do everything he said, Apple, again, would have flopped. He built the company the way it is today, because he scared people into making the future even if it wasn’t how they saw it. Steve Jobs, of course, isn’t a bad guy. He couldn’t have been if millions around the world love him. He wasn’t, he was a control freak. He correctly saw the future, he knew the future and he was just harsh on those who went against what he saw. He predicted 30 odd years ago, we would have computers that were small enough to be the size of books in your lap. That’s right he correctly guessed there would be laptops. He made it so that they were made.
Apple being a hierarchy like it was allowed it to grow. They had a tough leader, and they became insanely great because of his harshness, his need for perfection. Apple, for the future years to come, will follow his ideals. This will ensure their future, him being a narcissist isn’t all bad, he hardened his crew to make the best products in the world.

MacBook Touch- Why it’s the greatest idea Apple MAY have come up with since the iPad
I read an article this morning that said that “[the] company received approval from the U.S. Patent Office this week for a patent for a MacBook with a cellular antenna and a rotating display. Such a MacBook could have the super thin qualities of the MacBook Air and the cellular connectivity and touchscreen versatility of the iPad.”
If this is so, this could be the single greatest decision for Apple since the iPhone, and iPad. Here’s why. If Apple puts out a tablet/hybrid MacBook air that has Apple’s Mac OS X then it will become extremely popular. Tablets have, in the past year or so, taken off with the first iPad. If Apple decides to make this additional tablet/MacBook hybrid, people will want it because the tablet industry is very popular.
Having said this, including Mac OS X on this tablet will make Mac sales go sky-high. People who are PC and Mac users alike use and enjoy tablets. Putting Mac OS X into a tablet will give people the opportunity to experience Mac. That may be a bit confusing so allow me to summarize. Tablet sales provide for A LOT of Apple sales, Mac, unfortunately not so much. People who don’t buy Macs, don’t because they don’t know if they’ll like Mac OS. But people like tablets and more importantly they like iPads. They trust Apple to make good tablets. If they buy a Mac OS X tablet then not only do they have a good tablet but they will also see that Apple Macs have really good OSs after all. Because of this positive experience they will more likely buy Macs. It is because of this that Apple will see a big shoot-up of Mac sales.
People tried the iPad and liked it. People will try the Mac OS tablet/MacBook and like it and buy desktop Macs or additional MacBooks. One thing that would secure Apple’s success in this product is NOT putting just the Mac App Store but either try and get all the apps in the iOS store in the Mac App Store or just put the iOS store (in a Mac interface) in the device. I am looking forward to what Apple does next with this idea. How about you? Are you excited about a possible Mac OS tablet? If Apple were to make one, would you buy it, considering iPads success? If not, why? Comment below and subscribe.

The Westboro church is officially crazy and pathetic
Ok, so I was reading through Apple news and a post about Westboro popped up and I clicked on it ( In case you don’t know they’re the crazy, gay-hating church that promotes death to America and death to American soldiers). I wondered why of all things, Westboro would pop up if I’m searching Steve Jobs. To my complete shock, they were planning to picket his funeral or death service. The reason why is shocking. “Several other WBC members took to Twitter announcing their views. Protestor Shirley wrote on Twitter, “The whole stinking world is kissing up to this dead/in hell rebel, so in that orgy of lies, Westboro Baptist Church will stand & TELL TRUTH!”
Church member Rebekah wrote in response to Jobs’ death, “What a vain, wasted life. Steve had a duty to encourage obedience to God. He failed. WBC to protest funeral. RT: @TMZ: Steve Jobs passed away.” Umm, where do I start. Westboro are the craziest people I have ever heard of. This is sick and disgusting. I can’t believe people would or could even think like this. Steve Jobs deserves to go to he’ll they say. What a bunch of BS. They are the ones who deserve to go to Hell. Not Steve. Westboro, you are officially crazy and I hope that you realize it and I hope the government will stop you every way they can from protesting because what you stand for is wrong and hideous. May God bless Steve Jobs soul. God would never send him to hell.

Cutting the Mac Pro will be very bad for Apple… Or will it?
Apple, according to reliable sources, is considering cutting it’s line of Mac Pros. It has not been updated since late 2010. With an update of Intel processors coming in early 2012, it may be even more pressing for Apple to cut the line part in due to the delay. Mac Pro sales have been going down in recent months and perhaps the past year. With these sales, Apple may be cutting the Pro model. If they cut the model, they may offer an even more high-end iMac. However it will be impossible, at least for now, for Apple to fit Mac Pro stats into an iMac.
People who NEED the extra power the Mac Pro has, will not get it. Again the iMac will not be enough for them, so if they must have a very high-end computer they will have to seek a PC. This will be very bad for Apple. However, no need to worry just yet, Apple. Fans of your operating system, Mac OS X will probably just get the high-end iMac with Thunderbolt storage. In fact I read a excerpt of an article (I’m sorry I don’t remember the article source) that said that the guy rather go to Mac mini then go to PC.
So because of Apple’s fan base and their want to stick by Mac even if they don’t quite get the specs they need, will help Apple. This move will guarantee iMac sales to go up. Because more people would use iMac (which is cheaper than Pro, even with the new rumored high-end model), more people would try to get other people to buy iMacs. It can go either way, people buy iMacs to cope with Pro’s loss. Or they could switch. But the latter is unlikely considering people who go Mac never look back. But we never know. We’ll just have to wait and see what Apple’s next move is.

Jailbreaking: Should you do it?
iOS jail breaking is defined as “iOS jailbreaking, or simply jailbreaking, is the process of removing the limitations imposed by Apple on devices running the iOS operating system through use of custom kernels. Such devices include the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, and 2nd Gen Apple TV.
Jailbreaking allows users to gain root access to the operating system, allowing iOS users to download additional applications, extensions, and themes that are unavailable through the official Apple App Store. A jailbroken iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad running iOS can still use the App Store, iTunes, and other normal functions, such as making telephone calls.” (Wikipedia) I believe personally that Apple, has a complete hold on what you can do with your iDevice. Do I feel that people should have the freedom to jailbreak and customize to whatever, whenever they please. Absolutely. However there is one catch. Jailbreaking also allows you to hack and pirate apps.
This is very wrong and not to mention illegal. For the respect of the iOS developers, I will not disclose how to go about getting these pirated apps. Free music and movies protected under copyright law are also found, again I will not disclose how to get these. I think that being able to put tweaks and themes on your device should be completely in your control.
So do I support jailbreaking? Yes, I do. Just don’t do things the FBI don’t want you to do ok? To jailbreak, from 4.3.3 and below, untethered, visit jailbreakme.com on your mobile browser. And again I remind you to don’t do anything illegal.
Happy jailbreaking!

A defining design lessons Steve Jobs learned and put into his products
When I think Steve Jobs design, the first thing that pops into my mind is mastering the craft of detail. Jobs level of detail has always been above par, sometimes probably exceeding his own expectations. Whenever he built the inside of a computer he wanted to make an impression to the people who happened to look inside. This, as we know by Apple’s beautiful products, was also implied on the outside as well. However other companies couldn’t care less about the inside (sometimes it appears they don’t care about the outside either). But not Steve. This is something he learned from his father as detailed in his biography. ” It was important to craft the backs of cabinets and fences properly, even though they were hidden…” (Issacson’s Steve Jobs). Later to show he followed his fathers lesson, Steve, in a interview just after the Macintosh came out, said “When you’re a carpenter making a beautiful set of drawers, you’re not going to use a piece of plywood on the back, even though it faces the wall and nobody will ever see it. You’ll know it’s there, so you’re going to use a beautiful piece of wood on the back. For you to sleep well at night, the aesthetic, the quality, has to be carried all the way through” (Issacson’s Steve Jobs). Steve Jobs, as we see now, has clearly kept this design ideal by giving us beautiful, intuitive products that we all enjoy, inside and out.

Apple has won its war against Flash and it’s evils
Apple, on this day, November 11, 2011 (better known as 11/11/11) has won its war against flash. Adobe announced today that they are pulling all resources away from flash and they will start to work on HTML5. This historic event was predicted by Jobs himself. So what will happen to Apple when flash is pulled. Because flash will be pulled, websites will no longer contain it, so more and more websites will putting their content in Apple-friendly HTML5. This will cause iPod touch, iPhone and iPad sales to go up and competitors down because people will no longer have a reason to go with another non-Apple product, because it won’t matter that flash is on it because, as predicted by Steve Jobs, Flash is dead. Thank Jobs for this great achievement. Death to flash is complete. iUsers everywhere rejoice.

Why Apple will not change in the near future… And probably not for a long time
Hello fellow Apple fans. Joe here. I know that Apple fans alike are very upset about Steve’s recent passing. But many are also wondering what happens next at Apple. But first let me start off with some history. Back in 1985, John Sculley ousted Steve from the company. Until his re-arrival back at Apple in 1996, Apple wasn’t fairing very well, and while hard to believe now, they were 90 days from bankruptcy when Steve came back. Of course we know that he came in and saved Apple from Gil.
Now this may not sound like promising information now that Steve is gone. However, during his years back at Apple he acquired some of the best business-people in the world to work with him and learn from him. Now that Steve is gone, Tim Cook and Jony Ive will continue to bring Apple success. Plus, in addition, whatever ideas Steve had before he died, I am sure was carried on to the staff there. They will continue to carry out Steve’s dream because Steve’s spirit will continue to drive the company forever. I believe that Apple will continue without Steve, maybe with more speed bumps, but nonetheless they will succeed.
Steve’s spirit lives in all of us, it’s the Apple employees it really lives on with thus allowing Apple to still serve us fantastic products. Also let’s not forget the greatest product of all, his ideals that we can learn from. To “think different” because thats what Apple’s really about. Follow Steve and his ideals (listen to his Commencement speech). That’s what will keep Apple around for a long time. May he rest in peace.

My First Post- Joe
Hello fellow Apple Fans, My name is Joe. I am a new commenter on the site, to start off my writing “career” on this site, I want to post a post on Steve Jobs I wrote the day of his unfortunate death. “Today will be a day that I will never forget, on October 5, 2011 we lost a great mind, a brave solider, & a one of a mind man.
I lost a friend, he was a person who I looked up to each and everyday. My top dream was to meet him, and to just shake hands with him, it’s been a dream of mine since I was 10, now it will only be a dream never a reality. He the person who has created some of my best friends, and I’m a proud geek to say that.
Their was no other person like him in this world and their never will be again. Although he is gone, he will always be with each and everyone of us in spirit, every iPod, iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, & Mac is a symbol of all the hard work and dreams that this man has done for us. He was a person who wanted the best for us even is his worst times, and was the person who always wanted us to “Think Different”. There wasn’t ever an Apple keynote that I wasn’t at my Macbook watching all the exciting stuff was being announced. He has really made people feel like they belonged is this world and it was okay to be a geek, an Apple geek. I told my self that I will work for Apple Inc. and make him proud. Thank you to a man who touched so many life’s in one way or another, I will never forget all that you have done, Thanks for being my Inspiration, and never giving up on your dreams.
Rest In Peace Steven Paul Jobs”
Rest in peace indeed Steve.
I as a writer will try to keep everyone posted on Pro-Apple and Anti-Microsoft news the best I can.
