Within the past few days Apple has been taking a battering when it comes to stock, being brought back into the $500 zone. But what’s causing it all, why is it doing this? Within the past few days, rumors have been going around that Apple will release a new “iPad Air” a smaller screened version of the actual iPad. The fact that it doesn’t even exist gets me. Why would investors get so scared about rumors when all rumors are are ideas that Apple might do next. I have brought this contention up before. Should Apple enter the 7 inch screen tablet field? Apparently, investors don’t think so. I don’t think so either, do I have to remind you that most 7 inch tablets have been complete failures. Of course this doesn’t mean Apple wouldn’t make a great one. However, investors are weary about Apple going in that direction. I believe that Apple could make a great 7 inch if they wanted to, but I’m not sure they want to. If they did before, they certainly don’t think so now that investors are bringing the stock down. There is another thing that investors are worried about and they shouldn’t be. They worried that iPad sales will slip. iPad sales have never slipped ever since it was released, iPad sales have always been increasing. The first quarter of 2012 is no exception. Investors get into a unnecessary frenzy right before a financial report of a quarter comes out. A new report is due out within the next few weeks, April 24th to be exact. I do not think Apple will post negative or even neutral results. I don’t know why investors are downgrading it’s stock when you would expect it would actually increase in anticipation. Once Apple releases good news on the 24th, Apple stock will return to its rightful 600+ a share if not more (700+?). just a word to investors, calm down, Apple can handle itself pretty well.
