The new Mac mini with the M4 processor will become the smallest computer in Apple’s history, launching this year

Mark Gurman of Bloomberg reported that Apple plans to release the Mac mini with M4 and M4 Pro processors, as well as a new design, at the end of 2024.

The new Mac mini will mark the first major redesign of the computer since 2010, making it the smallest desktop PC from Apple. It is expected to be closer in size to the Apple TV.

The device will still have an aluminum case. People familiar with the project have described the gadget as “essentially an iPad Pro in a small casing.”

Apple has tested at least three Mac mini models, each with at least three USB-C ports on the back, a power cable area, and an HDMI port. The base M4 model is expected to start shipping this month, while the more powerful M4 Pro version won’t be ready until October. [MacRumors]

Never in a 1000 years would Apple come up with a commercial like this.

The singing is horribly off-key. The acting is forced and cheesy. But worst of all -who in the right mind would be singing this song to a friend?

Someone needs to take this video out the back and murder it once and for all. The only good thing about it is the “skip this ad” button.

I still own my original Apple 2+ and what I love about Apple, is the feeling of possibilities when you boot a Apple product up. The energy and excitement when you walk into the local Apple store with no particular reason for being there, other than your love for Apple and the Apple culture. Apple products are so simple, yet intuitive in there form and function.

In the picture is Steven and Niki Fitzgerald in front of the Apple Store (Spokane, WA).

Looks like Steve’s taste in electronics is as good as his taste in women.

A long time ago, in what seems like a galaxy far, far away, Apple and Google were the Brad and Jennifer of the tech world. Google had the cloud, Apple had the clients, and both companies were such industry darlings that fantasizing about world-changing Apple/Google team-ups was a popular pundit pasttime. The love extended all the way up to the top of Apple, with Google CEO Eric Schmidt taking the stage alongside Jobs at WWDC 2007 for the iPhone’s unveiling. Jobs was supposedly so pleased with the prospects for Apple/Google collaboration that when he learned of Google’s secret “Gphone” project (Android), he reportedly hit the roof.
