yo so ok basically Apple just released iOS 26.3 for iPhone and it’s one of those updates that doesn’t look super flashy at first but it’s actually kinda important
like yeah there’s some little new stuff, apparently it makes switching between Android and iPhone easier which is funny because Apple never acts like they care about that. but honestly the bigger deal is it’s packed with bug fixes and security stuff. one report said it has 35+ security fixes (and even more if you count them all) which is a LOT. and there’s even a thing Apple says might of been used in a super targeted attack on older iOS versions which is… not chill
also if your the type who ignores updates because you think “nothing ever changes” this is literally the exact update your supposed to not skip. like i get it updating is annoying and it always happens when your phone is at 23% but still, this is the one you do
my quick opinion: i love when Apple does the quiet responsible thing. no big marketing. no dramatic event. just “here’s the patch please don’t get hacked” and honestly thats pretty cool. plus i’m kinda hyped because people are saying the next big Siri upgrade is getting closer, so this feels like Apple cleaning there room before company comes over
anyway if you haven’t updated yet go do it. Settings app time. your welcome
