The Epic Games Store has launched on iOS. However, only iPhone owners in the European Union can install the app store.

Currently, the store only offers a few of the company’s games, including Fortnite and Rocket League Sideswipe.

Fortnite was removed from the App Store in 2020, leading to a legal battle between Apple and Epic Games, but the game has remained unavailable on iOS.

Epic Games stated that they plan to launch the store in other countries where possible. Specifically, a launch in Japan is scheduled for 2025.

Additionally, the Epic Games Store will be available for iPad, but only after the release of iPadOS 18 this fall. [MacRumors]
