A team by the name of the evad3rs is going to release an untethered jailbreak for iOS 6.X for all devices except the Apple TV 3, which since it’s release a year ago, has yet to receive a jailbreak. The team, evad3rs, will release a jailbreak tool for Mac, Linux and Windows. The team consists of some of the top jailbreakers in the world, including @MuscleNerd, @pod2g, @planetbeing and @plmskeks with help from @chronicdevteam and @iphone_dev. Therefore, we know that this is the real deal. I would highly recommend updating your devices to 6.1 via iTunes on the computer after the software has been released. As of 1PM PST, the website says that it has completed testing on Windows and Mac and that it is 85% complete. On the devices shown on the website, there is a 3 on all the calendars on the Calendar app of each device. This may be coincidental, but I think it’s an easter egg telling us that it will release on the 3rd, which of course is today. Stay tuned for more details!
