Donald Trump, after meeting with Tim Cook, reported that Apple plans to move part of its production from Mexico to the US.

According to him, Cook has already suspended the operation of two factories in Mexico. The head of Apple promised to invest millions of dollars in the US economy.

Additionally, mass production of chips will be launched in the new TSMC factory in Arizona. This will already allow for the production of processors for iPhone 15/15 Plus, and after 2028, new 3nm and 2nm chips.

The reason for the sudden move of production was not specified.
