Okay, Apple friends, it might be time to put your credit card in a locked drawer, because the rumor mill just got very, very loud.
A new report says Apple is lining up 5+ product launches over the next several weeks, and it sounds like Mac season is about to hit us like a surprise iOS update when you are five minutes from leaving the house.
The headline grabber for me is this supposedly “low-cost” MacBook that could run an A18 Pro chip. Yes, the kind of chip you would expect in an iPhone, casually powering a MacBook. That is either brilliant, confusing, or both, which is basically Apple’s brand at this point.
And that is not even the whole buffet. The same report points to an M5 MacBook Air, plus M5 Pro and M5 Max MacBook Pro updates, and even new Mac displays. If Apple drops fresh screens too, the desk setup crowd is going to act up in the best way.
My take, if the “budget MacBook” thing is real, it could be a sneaky huge deal. A cheaper Mac that still feels fast and modern would be the kind of product you recommend to literally everyone, students, families, the “I just need a laptop” crowd, and yes, your friend who still uses a 2015 machine and insists it is “fine.”
Now we just wait for Apple to do the classic move, say nothing for a while, then drop three new products on a random Tuesday like it is totally normal.
