Apple has released the fifth beta version of iOS 18 for developers.

The build number is 22A5326f.

In this version, performance has been improved, bugs have been fixed, and several new features have been added.

Apple Removed the Carousel from the Photos App

In previous beta versions of iOS 18, you could swipe left or right in the Photos app to access the Carousel, where you could see other sections, but this caused the main feed to become inaccessible.

Many users did not like the Carousel, and it seems Apple has listened to them.

Distractions Can Be Disabled in Safari

Safari now has a previously unannounced feature called Distraction Control, which allows you to disable various distractions on websites, such as cookie warnings, pop-up subscription banners, autoplay videos, and much more.

The firmware size is around 2.4 GB. You can download the update over the air.
